Iain Green

As a professional wildlife photographer and writer, I specialise in the wildlife of the UK and India.

Tigers are one of my passions and for eight years I have documented the lives of a family of wild tigers living in central India. In 2002, my first book 'Wild Tigers of Bandhavgarh', was published by Tiger Books to critical acclaim.

In contrast, for the past three years I have been scouring the wild spaces of London looking for signs of wildlife. While friends headed to far-flung places in search of foreign flora and fauna, I have basked in the exotic parts of our capital city - observing many rare and unusual species and encountering a plethora of precious places.

Represented by leading picture agency, Natural History Photographic Agency (NHPA), my work is regularly published in books, calendars, newspapers and magazines. I lead exclusive photographic tours in India for Wildshots and travel throughout the UK to lecture and exhibit my photographs. I also have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of animal and environmental issues, and my photographs are often used by conservation and animal protection organisations to illustrate their work.
